Nice cafe with a nice atmosphere

I have passed this beautiful café many times on my road bike tours. Two weeks ago I took a break in Biesenthal for the first time and had my well-deserved cake in the "Imperial Post Office". To be honest, it took a while until I ate cake because I was so incredibly enthusiastic about the café and was able to discover and photograph room by room with childlike joy. The light and the atmosphere are just so special. Not to mention the personable owners. I visited the café on a Sunday and the whole family was on duty - you feel a bit at home. The interior and exterior have been designed to be incredibly loving and stylish. It's also a bit like visiting a museum, as there are many old pictures and objects to look at. The cakes (a really splendid selection) are all homemade (CHAPEAU) and even limos are made from regional products. To cut a long story short: if you want to take a little soul vacation, you should stop here. The atmosphere is really so warm and familiar that it feels very warm to the heart. I'm looking forward to my next visit! Oh yeah, I had a piece of cheesecake and a glass of hibiscus iced tea. SO GOOD! Thank you very much! I also upload pictures! Thank you <3

An old historical building has been lovingly restored and converted into a cafe. That worked out very well. Attractive interior design and plenty of space outside on the street, in the garden or on a terrace. Cakes and pies are very tasty, and the coffee tastes good too. Very friendly service. One minute's walk from the Biesenthal train station. You can also hook up bicycles there. If you come by car, park opposite, there is a large, free car park.

Fantastic, all cakes are delicious and taste homemade. The coffee cappuccino etc. very good. Boss and the waitress are very friendly, kind and helpful. Very cozy atmosphere outside and inside. Definitely worth a visit.

It was the tastiest cake in a long time. I bought "take away" cake today and it was super delicious. The service as always friendly and courteous. What is very important to us is that there is no rapeseed oil in the cake because of a severe intolerance. And what should I say, there was really no one in there - man tolerated the cake very well. I think when the owner reads this, he remembers - dear thanks.

We were curious about the new café and today we walked 40 km through the rain on March 1st. Shortly after 3 p.m. the few seats were full and other potential guests were just turning back. The building has been nicely renovated with grants, but the limited space inside is wasted thanks to large-scale decoration, for example in front of the counter. A summer garden facing the sun-drenched side of the street is probably not planned - ok, a few chairs should probably be on the sidewalk in front of the unused garden for the café in summer. Too bad, it probably won't be worth it again

This café can be described as an insider tip with a clear conscience. The interior is very stylish and everything was restored with great attention to detail and very clean. The fact that the service is super nice and the homemade cake is extremely tasty, of course, makes the whole thing perfect.
